Privacy Policy

This page explains what personal data IAVirtuals collects, why, and who else receives it. We collect only what the service needs. We do not sell your data and we do not show ads.

1. Who is responsible

IAVirtuals (iavirtuals.com), operated by an individual based in Cameroon. Contact: iavirtualnumbers@gmail.com

2. What we collect

• Your account: your name, email address and preferred language. If you sign up with a password, we store only a scrambled form of it (a hash) that cannot be turned back into the password. If you use Google, we receive your Google account ID, name, email address and profile photo.
• Your orders: the app and country you choose, the number you receive, the SMS codes and messages that arrive on it, the price and the times.
• Your wallet and top-ups: the amounts, the currency and rate, the payment status and references. You enter your mobile money number and PIN on our payment provider's page; we do not store them.
• Technical data: a sign-in cookie (see section 5). Like most websites, our hosting provider may record technical data such as IP addresses, for security and to keep the site running.

3. Why we use it

• to create your account and sign you in;
• to sell you numbers and show you the codes;
• to take top-ups and keep an exact record of your wallet;
• to prevent fraud and abuse, and to answer your questions;
• to meet legal and accounting obligations.

We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it.

4. Who else receives data

• Fapshi (payments): your email address, the amount, our payment reference and an internal account number, so it can process your top-up.
• Google: only if you choose "Continue with Google", to sign you in.
• Proxnum (our number supplier): only the app and the country of the number. No personal data.
• Render and MongoDB Atlas: the companies that host our website and our database. Their servers may be outside Cameroon.

We may also disclose data when the law requires it.

5. Cookies

We use one cookie, which keeps you signed in. The site needs it to work. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

6. How long we keep data

We keep your account and its history while your account is open. Payment and wallet records are kept as long as needed for accounting and to settle disputes. If you ask us to close your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data, except records we must keep.

7. Your rights

You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, to correct it or to delete it. You can change your name and password yourself in Settings. For anything else, write to iavirtualnumbers@gmail.com. We reply as soon as we can.

8. Security

The site uses an encrypted connection (https). Passwords are stored only in scrambled form, payment keys stay on our server, and only the operator can open the admin area.

9. Age

IAVirtuals is for people aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from younger children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. See also our Terms of Service.
